Rosa Parks’ Archives Are Easily Accessible Through the Library of Congress
You can now read some of Rosa Parks most important papers with just the click of a mouse. Before Howard G. Buffet, son of billionaire investor Warren Buffet, purchased Mrs. Parks’ archive for $4.5 million in 2014 and loaned them to the Library of Congress, the Civil Rights icon’s writings languished in a warehouse. During that time, TheVillageCelebration interviewed the man in charge of preserving the historical collection.
