Gospel Singer Writes Love Song to His Wife
President Barack Obama and First Lady, Michelle, celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary a few weeks ago. Village contributor, Chandra Thomas Whitfield, wrote an article about their longstanding love and called it, “Black Love.” Singer-songwriter, Jerry Phillips, produced his own tribute to black love, serenading his wife of 13 years in a video with a song he wrote just for her.
