10 Statements Presidential Candidate Joe Biden Made In Speech to ‘Rebuild Together’

On the final night of the Democratic National Convention, the Democrats showcased their presidential candidate, Joe Biden, with humor, nostalgia, and empathy…qualities they say define him. 

From the endorsement of the young boy in New Hampshire who stutters like Biden to his deceased son, Beau, whose introduction of his dad at the 2008 DNC was replayed tonight, Americans were encouraged to take into account the 77-year-old’s lifetime of public service marked by devotion and personal suffering. In his speech accepting the nomination, Biden struck an optimistic tone and touched on several topics including the coronavirus, his jobs plan, and social justice.

I see a different America, one that’s generous and strong, selfless and humble. It’s an America we can rebuild together.”
