Gun Sold for More Than $100k
One week after several gun shops declined to auction the gun George Zimmerman used to kill 17 year-old Trayvon Martin, the gun has reportedly been sold for more than $100,000.00 dollars. George Zimmerman, the owner of the gun and the former neighborhood watchman acquitted in the murder of Martin, confirmed the sell.
The effort to sell the gun outraged many Americans. Zimmerman sought to market the gun as a “piece of American history” even claiming the Smithsonian Institution wanted to include it in its vast archive. The Smithsonian denied any association.
Upon the completion of the sale, Zimmerman reportedly gave “glory to God” for its success.
